For the second consecutive year, Community Health Centres across Canada will be shining the light on the myriad of ways in which CHCs and working collaboratively, in communities across the country to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities as a whole.

2013 Community Health and Wellbeing Week takes place across Canada from September 30 – October 6, 2013, with planning of local events underway at CHCs across the country. The annual week of celebrations achieved remarkable success in 2012, raising the profile of community-oriented primary health care efforts across Canada as well as the importance of community-based action to address the impact of social determinants of health on individuals, familie and communities across the country.
